Many of us do not like to think about anything related to death or burial. It is not until we are faced with an unexpected death of a loved one, that we realise how unprepared we really are, not only of the death itself, but of the stressful funeral and burial process, the preparations of which are always overwhelming.
While we don’t like to talk about death much less plan our funeral service and select a burial place, it should be out of love and consideration to our grief-stricken family that some of these essential decisions should be made and taken care ahead of time. This includes deciding on the type of burial we want and selecting and paying for either a burial plot or a columbarium niche.
No matter which burial option you choose, The Empire Paradise Christian Memorial Park is always here and ever-ready to serve and accommodate your choice.
Undeniably, many people believe they come from earth and rely on earth for living. Therefore, it is normal for them to expect to return to earth and bury in earth when their times come. This belief is also conformed to Scripture Genesis 3:19 when God said to Adam : “ By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”
Basically, most people will choose traditional burial so that they can be buried in earth, as they see this as an accumulation and continuation of their thousand-years tradition, culture and religious belief.
However, one point to note is that due to the progress and development in our society today, more and more people are concerned with living in a more friendly environment and also the fact that they are now living with limited land resources. People’s mentality and attitude has been transformed in this modern society, they are now prepared to opt for Cremation over Traditional Burial when their times come. As such, we have seen an increasing demand for Cremation over Traditional Burial in the local communities nowadays. This trend also prevails among the Christian and Roman Catholic communities, more so during the outbreak of the current Covid-19 pandemic and economic downturn.
Generally, cremation is a method of final disposition of the deceased’s body by burning. The cremated remains (ashes) will be collected in an urn and placed in a niche in a columbarium.
If you do not consider death as a taboo and are currently looking for a burial option, you can consider The Empire Paradise Christian Memorial Park. After all, various types of burial options are available in our memorial park.
